Planet of History – 6 Days Cairo & Luxor Guided Tours

Pick up by our tour guide and enjoy a safe ride from Cairo airport to your hotel in Giza, The transfer length will be approximately 1 hour. Transfers are available year-round and 24 hours a day. (Please send us your flight details).

Once you get to your hotel, Meet your guide who will give you a short briefing for your tour around Egypt with all the needed advice and recommendations.

Overnight at Giza Hotel (Private room with Breakfast) most likely Pyramid View Room if available. 

After Breakfast, Start your day with your friendly guide to the Giza Plateau. When you reach the Giza Plateau, your Egyptology guide will introduce you to the famous Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Marvel at the Great Sphinx statue and visit the Valley Temple, part of the same ancient complex. Learn about the burial rites of the pharaohs.

The next stop on the tour is the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, at the fascinating Saqqara archaeological site. Built around 2630 BC, this special pyramid is the world's oldest major stone structure. You’ll continue to Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt. Having reigned as a cultural center for over 3,000 years, Memphis boasts stunning ancient sites.

EVENING transfer to Cairo train station to take the overnight first class seated train to Luxor.

EVENING transfer to Cairo bus station to take the overnight bus to Luxor (Can be Upgraded to Sleeper train for extra cost via add-on). 

Arrive at Luxor train station and be picked up and transferred to your Hotel. 

Afternoon guided tour to visit Luxor East Bank (Karnak temple and Luxor temple). Later you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.

Overnight in Luxor Hotel (Private room) 4 stars Hotel with Breakfast. 

(Optional Balloon tour in Luxor from 4:30 to 7:30 AM)

After Breakfast, start your tour with your friendly tour guide to visit the west Bank of Luxor (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon statues).

EVENING transfer to Luxor train station to take the overnight bus back to Cairo (Can be Upgraded to Sleeper train for extra cost via add-on). 

Arrive at Cairo train station by 5 AM and be picked up from there and transferred to your hotel in Giza. Later Egyptian Museum, Coptic, and Islamic Cairo tour You'll be picked up from your hotel by your friendly guide to enjoy a spiritual day tour of the Islamic and Coptic sites in Cairo.

First, see Salah El Din Citadel where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, also Al Gawhara Palace built by Mamluks and Ottomans. Proceed to old Cairo where you will discover the Roman fortress, the Hanging church, also called Al Mo’allaka church, then to St. Sergius, which sheltered the holy family. End your tour by visiting the Famous Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra.

Continue your day tour to downtown Cairo to visit the famous Egyptian Museum featuring artifacts from the Pharaonic and Roman periods. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. You will have the chance to visit Tutankhamun's tombs as well.

Overnight at Giza Hotel (Private room with Breakfast) most likely Pyramid View Room if available. 

After breakfast, you will get a comfortable transfer to Cairo airport (We are flexible to change this transfer to be anytime during the Day or Night Time).
